Please work with your child on the following concepts REGULARLY:
Multiplication facts through the 12s!
Division facts through the 12s!

Once they have mastered their facts you can help them with:
3 digit by 1 digit multiplication
2 digit by 2 digit multiplication
3 digit by 1 digit long division (with a remainder not decimal)
The "old school" way of multiplying and long division is perfect! We will learn other ways to multiply and divide during the year. These are HUGE skill they need this year, but it is extremely difficult for them to master the skill if they have not mastered their facts.
